The Resilient Railway Land is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and has been an invaluable opportunity for the Trust to take a step back and re-examine its long term strategy and objectives. The 18 month project got underway in 2017, with an emphasis on underpinning the future of the Trust with a well-developed 5 year strategy and business plan, building expertise to promote our work to new audiences, and underpinning our volunteer programme. In the current economic climate it has been vital for the Trust to focus on the most important elements of our work, consider different ways of generating income ourselves, and ensuring that more members of the community can get involved.
