Birling Gap Fixed Point Photography

One link the Railway Land Project has is with the National Trust and its work at Birling Gap. The adults with learning disabilities that are involved in the Railway Land through the Nature Corridors for All project, were commissioned by the National Trust in 2005 to take fixed point photographs to help in the study of the effects of long-shore drift and coastal erosion.

These photographs are taken by the participants every month and then up-loaded onto the website. Each photo can be clicked to reveal a larger landscape version.
