The Linklater Pavilion is a fantastic venue nestled on the edge of Lewes Railway Land. The Linklater can be used for many different types of events and functions, from community events to corporate away days and special occasions. It benefits from one of the most stunning surroundings in Sussex, located right by the River Ouse, underneath the chalky white cliffs of Lewes. This fantastic landscape makes it the perfect place for a day of sanctuary to ensure that your special occasion or event is enjoyed by everyone. The Linklater itself has many sustainable features, including a living roof, photovoltaic panels, a ground source heat pump and its own water supply. It is a beautiful, versatile building able to accommodate up to 120 people.

Facilities at the Linklater Pavilion
The Linklater Pavilion is fully accessible and easy to reach by public transport, by bike or on foot; we have a lift allowing full disabled access to both floors of the Linklater Pavilion.

We have a few parking spaces on site; other parking in Lewes Town centre is nearby.
Upstairs in the Linklater, a series of moveable walls provide flexible arrangements of the space.
Capacity of the Linklater:

The whole of the upstairs space, accommodating up to 120 people

The Mettyear Room, accommodating up to 40 people

The River Room, accommodating up to 20 people

The Jolly Room
The downstairs of the building has recently been refloored and updated. It is a large, welcoming space with a poured rubber floor, three sets of doors that open directly onto the Railway Land, toilets and facilities for making hot drinks, making it the perfect venue for children's birthday parties.
