Author: | 02/05/2008
Formal invitation but the public are welcome
The JMB have commissioned a Brighton-based production company called 'Fractured Films' to make a DVD about their achievements. This will be shown at the completion of their Leighside Pond Restoration project at 1100 prompt on Saturday 17th May at the entrance to the Railway Land Local Nature Reserve.

All are welcome.

Some of the jmb group
The JMB have been so busy with exam revision that I am writing on their behalf to say that their grant application has been successful. They were awarded £23,000 to design a water saving poster as well as restoring an old pond on the reserve. The poster will be launched on 30th June 2007 and the pond restoration will begin in the Autumn.

Awaiting an answer...

We want to restore the pond that used to be here
We are all currently anxiously awaiting an answer from the Heritage Lottery Fund to see if our grant was successful, and we are very nervous!!

While we wait we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and lets hope that we can get a new pond on the Railway Land for 2007!!

Love the JMB.

This will become a page written by members of the Junior Management Board. It is likely to start with a description of their latest project if it gets funded by the Young Roots Programme of the Heritage Lottery Fund. Here two members of the group are working with illustrator Jeremy Long on one aspect of their project.
